Aww..i Looove bad acting..bad dialogue.i love cool fake monsters,witchcraft,stop motion, claymation, and bad editing..this movie is a saturday afternoon creature feature from heaven...right after Thundarr the Barbarian,Johnny Quest and scooby-doo!!
i guess i just need to grow up.

An outstanding "Pre-Halloween" slasher flick.
this is one time has forgotten,released in 1976,this film has *GOT* to be one of the first american made slasher films.
pre-dating Carpenters "Halloween" by 2 years,it involves a masked boogyman (wearing a Halloween mask),crazy sexual deviance,backwoods hicks,and much much more!!
tons of goofs through out the film..but that just adds character..classic grindhouse fare!

Happy 35th Birthday TCM!!! October 1st marked the 35th anniversary of the Original Texas Chainsaw Massacres release date... Thee bestest independent film ever made. lets celebrate, by watching this gem..one more time...while having some good BBQ and headcheese.
