Lighthouse (Dead of Night) R

This is one of the best slasher movies I have ever seen. I love Simon Hunter's direction and style. To me, it is very creepy (check out the tension in the scene in the restroom), the killer gives me chills, and the characters are fleshed out very well. The chaos that ensues in the climax, where the lighthouse itself is reduced to shambles, drops my jaw every time.

I love Corey Feldman; he's one of my favorite actors. But this tasteless comedy was a test of endurance even for me. Only Elliott Gould's scene made me smile. What the heck are he and Rance Howard doing in this?
