My all-time favorite comedy. I love New England and the small-town Vermont setting, the wry, black humor and above all, painter Mr. Marlowe, who is exactly like me, I feel.
This is an Al Williamson production--one movie cobbled together out of the pieces of several other movies, with a few new scenes filmed and thrown in. It's like a Dadaist or Surrealist prank. I love it. The colorized scenes are fun, as is the poster/DVD cover art by the one and only Neal Adams.
