This movie begins like a crass, formula comedy with well-above-average performances, but soon reveals its true intentions: it wants to hurt you and all your stupid genre expectations. Hurt you bad. It's kind of like a Godard film conceived by date rape in a trailer park in West Virginia.
And an awesome soundtrack, too!

An enthralling action epic. I liked it so much that I'm hoping the original 4-hour version will get a US DVD release.
