i used to watch this when i was little. i watched it so much that my tape started to get messed up and turn to fuzz in the middle of the movie. all of my friends were scared of it but i loved it. it's the perfect story about how people are so unaccepting of anyone who is different
the perfect mixture of wanting to laugh and wanting to cry. it's approached in a comical sense but you feel sympathy at the same time. i love this movie
almost every scene in this movie can be turned into a beautiful photograph. the yellowish lighting really makes you feel like you're there in the 70s. the soundtrack fits the movie perfectly. sofia coppola is god.
ive lost count of how many times ive watched this movie. the comedy is bill murrays character is sarcastic and unobvious, i loveee it. the scenes are beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing. great great movie.
the soundtrack for this movie is one of my favorite soundtracks. this movie is great. rose byrnes character brought out so many emotions in me. you hate her but just want to hug her at the same time.
[You commented on this movie] Review: i saw the big lebowski around the time it came out and love it instantly, it now has sort of a cult following... but i don't care, i still love this movie. walter is one of the funniest characters of all time. i always laugh when i watch this movie. "this is not nam this is bowling there are rules"
this is one of the most amazing movies i've ever seen. jim carrey is an amazing actor. it flashes from past to present so at times you're a little confused at where you are. sometimes i wish the concept of this movie was real.
omg i love this movie. some of my favorite parts include the beginning when he is explaining his morning routine.
when he is walking into work listening to "i'm walking on sunshine" [the most upbeat song one can think of from the 80s] with a huuuge frown on his face.
the part at the christmas party where he looks completely disgusted at the little pig, with reindeer antlers on.
when hes caught off gaurd at the laundromat and the girl says "what are those stains?" and he says "its uh cranberry, cranapple" hahaha
but overall, throughout the whole movie, one scene i can watch over and over and over.....
"is that a raincoat?" "YES IT IS!"
christian bale played his character soooo good. he has the perfect disgusted look to him.
the thing i love about the laundromat scene is that even in the heat of anger, surprise, worry, and caught-off-gaurd-ness... hes still really detailed meticulous with his answer to his question. "cranberry...cran apple" like who says that?! hahah
and the part where hes running butt naked with a chainsaw... like he didn't have time to put on pants but he managed to put on his yuppy lil tennis shoes hahaha
ooh and in the very beginning when they're at the table and that guy just pops in like "they dont have a good bathroom to do coke in" and everyone ignores him like it's so normal. hahahah.
The scenes are sooo detailed and beautiful. this movie sheds new light on marie, you feel sympathy for her. the wardrobe and hair are outstanding. AMAZING soundtrack. sofia coppola nailed it again.
