Not a bad portrayal of the 2012 story but somehow I was left wondering how the movie managed to turn the end of the world into light entertainment. The attempt at including at least the mythology surrounding 2012 was feable.
Fantastic CGI of world shattering events and fairly decent acting,
At least the writers found something more unbelievable than the end of world events portrayed, Heroic leaders of state who give up thier chance to live to die along with the people YEAH RIGHT!
The end (pardon the pun) was a bit drawn out.
Overall worth the price of admission provided you are expecting great special effects and little substance. Worth going just for the effects.
