The book is better than the movie..if you can imagine that...
This movie did something to me the first time I saw it. It made me think. One of the greatest films MANKIND has ever seen. If there were twenty stars below here, I'd put twenty stars for this one...it's THAT damn good. Dark humor...sadistsic, lots of blood and broken bones, violence, explosions, but amist all this, you see a very basic struggle and you see a love trianlge form. Tyler wants Marla...Marla wants Jack and Jack wants to be like Tyler...the ending is the best ending to any movie I've ever seen.
Another good Vietnam-era movie. This one is probably the best Vietman movie out right now. Boot camp was hell and then the actual battlefield, you had no fucking clue who was against you. When you were ordered to clear out a village, you were supposed to do it.
No, not you...you too big. You want boom boom? I love you long time! But not you...you too big....
Charlie Sheen had to follow up what his daddy did in Apocalypse Now with this movie. Makes me cringe a few times watching this one...nonetheless, go see this one.
One of the absolute greatest movies on the planet. Francis Ford Coppela does an AMAZING job in this movie. There's lots of violence. But it gives you a really, really good idea how fucked up Vietnam was. See this movie. NOW.
See, this is a good movie. It's based on a comic, but the whole idea is that Hellboy is one bad mofo and Ron Perlman plays a flawless adolescent demon.
This movie starts out much like an acid trip...then it gets very, very bad. The acting in the movie is insane. Here you have Juliette Lewis's character, a molested teen, being resuced by the meat man. That's when it all starts. It is a glorification of serial killers and is a gigantic middle finger to the system. Prison couldn't even hold Mickey and Mallory. But you also have to look at it like this...they didn't kill just for the sake of killing, they killed because they had to. The movie is one of the greatest movies of our times.
They are demons. And they can't be stopped. But the coolest thing is they always leave someone alive to tell the tale.
It's insane.
Every time I see it, I want to get a shot gun...
Movie about how racism gets you killed...or keeps you alive...either way, nazi punks fuck off. This movie is amazing. One of Norton's best next to Fight Club and Death to Smoochy.
