A very different Hitchcock film. Very funny and enjoyable. The negative reviews might be viewed as people having seen some ideas over-rehashed down through history, then review this one... forgetting when THIS was made

When I was young, there was a movie theater in San Francisco Japan Town that played Japanese movies, without English subtitles. I didn't/don't understand any japanese, but went in ..... and over the next months, I saw a lot of Kurosawa films (and love most of them).... I saw this one 4 or 5 times... with absolutely no English.... loved it...... now I have the DVD with English subtitles... and have watched the DVD at least 10 times... ..... need I say more about my favorite Kurosawa film?
