Facing the Giants (2006,  PG)
Facing the Giants
It such a shame the most people did not see this movie for what it symbolised: OVERCOMING YOUR GIANTS HAVING FAITH IN CHRIST AND DEPENDING ON THE LORD AND ENDURING THROUGH THIS.And as for materialism issue i guess it is to do with the car scene. The scene had nothing to do with materialism but rather a blessing is given when kindness is in the heart and is acted upon and that is obedience to Christ. FAITH is declining in this world so i would personally like to see more movies that inspire faith and holding on to the Lord.

This movie does beat the wicked trash on TV that condones everything that our Lord disapproves of. Movies with killing, people admiring mediums and we who know our WORD are wise to that!Condoning of adultery and so many more examples. If you want realistic watch tv, how tragic. True reality as written in the BIBLE is Jesus Christ any all kinds of miracles can occur through him who is LOVE itself, and this movie reveals miracles can still happen. Amen!

Escape from Hell (2000,  Unrated)
Escape from Hell
I beg to differ the movie does not make up for lies and lies. Without Christ in your life that is where unfortunately a person is heading Hell. Most christian movies are independent and not Hollywood standard but most Hollywood flicks give u lies lies and lies!! This movie has nothing to do with fearing God in such away that you will go to hell it has more to do with rejection of Jesus and its eternal consequences of final destination.

To many believers are falling for the trap of "sport religion" than devoting time to Jesus. That was the message in the movie. The movie also indicates where atheists will go-to Hell....1 John you will find those who do not have Jesus have no life. What is this life? Everlasting worship and fellowship with the Lord forever and ever. The father in the movie did not believe in Jesus and so he landed in Hell and NO the Lord does not torture you in hell, demons do. It is written hell was originally created for Satan and his legions of fallen Angels not human beings. However, sin puts many in Hell for they neither believe in God nor the POWER of the cross.

I think many christians don't like this flick due to the storyline besides the reality of Hell is not truly taught in churches nowadays no wonder many believe hell is a myth. Boy doesn't the Devil just love that! Another thing using the word Alleged( gnashing of teeth)NOOO!!JESUS SAID THERE WILL BE GNASHING OF TEETH to use the word alleged is to make out that our Lord is a liar.

Jesus died on the cross so that soley through him we are saved from the pits of Hell. NOTE: in the end he gave his life to Christ recieving salvation and too the knowledge that his Father who had died is in the presence of God, the Son and Holy Spirit. Here is the message: without christ in you, you are heading for Hell with Jesus in you you are heading to the Kingdom of God. Amen!!

There is no deception in this flick Josh Glasgow i pray that more movies like this come out for if you look into the world you will see that reverence for our God is slowly dying even fear of Hell( if there is no hell why care we can say yes to the Lord or no to the Lord irrespective we all go to Heaven). The movie reveals truth of Hell a place of torment created in ancient times, not because God wants it so but due to us( beginning with Adam)bringing sin into this world and in our sins we deserve Hell but God is so very loving that he sent his ONLY begotten Son to die on the cross so that through him we are snatched from going to Hell. Amen!! This movie clearly shows this.

Be blessed all and live for Jesus Christ. Amen.

P.S. That scene where God released the Doc has nothing to do with showing that God exists but rather that the Father is merciful, and besides if the message that God exists occurs due to the scene so be it especially if that viewer gives their life to the Lord being moved by the Spirit.

Furthermore, the movie was logical and coherent and a christian movie should not be about memorable one liners but aiming to bring people to Jesus Christ. Personally in christian movies the acting should not be expected to be up there with hollywood stars for we are set apart. Hollywood stars are idolised and christian actors/actresses shouldn't aim to be an idol.

Lastly the scene with the switching of channels to a football game shows an important message: Jesus could be reaching out but something of this world distracts us and we miss him. That is the message of the scene pure and simple got nothing to do with God hates football message.

People can "have all that" and still not believe in Jesus and simply go to church on Sundays out of obligation. So a person going to church services does not neccessary mean saved. That is another message of the movie.

To end off who is "they" ( us Christians) and the film facing the giants being made by people who are niave. Interesting! Josh Glasgow i have a feeling you are not christian just by going by your own words. And the "stuff" you point out are miracles mmmm we are blind i think not. I have experienced miracles in my life praise Jesus Christ. Amen.

The paster on the tv scene is not babbling gibberish but speaking truth straight out of the word of God which is dependable!

The Visual Bible: Acts (Falling Fire: The Gift of the Spirit)
Hopefully this will change the stats of those not interested. This is a excellent movie of the beginnings of the church and in fact the ACTS is the works of the Holy Spirit sent from God through Christ our Lord.
