Tied for my favorite with The Departed. Easily Paul Thomas Anderson's best film. Daniel Day-Lewis is just sensational as always. This movie should have won Best Picture of No Country. Great cinematography and the best score I have heard in a movie.

The Dark Knight
Where do I begin with this film...? I heard this movie was being made about 3 years ago, and from there I was counting down until its release. Once I saw Heath Ledger play the Joker in the “The Dark Knight” trailer during I Am Legend, I was speechless. I didn't even care about “I Am Legend”, which sucked anyway. Heath Ledger stole the show and he didn't play the role he disappeared into the character entirely. But he will be remembered from this role. Hopefully he will get the Oscar for best supporting actor because this was the best performance I have ever seen in a movie. The only thing is the academy has a thing about handing out Oscars to somebody that has passed away, I say suck it up it was the best performance and well worth it. Heath has already gotten a nomination give him the Oscar. Everyone brings their A game. Everyone in the movie has about the same amount of screen time, so they don’t over sell The Joker or any other characters. But see this movie. I saw the midnight showing, I saw again already. So I have seen a total of 9 times as of now, just recently saw it in the IMAX (that was an amazing experience). The biggest thing people have with this movie is that it is 2 ½ long, but it's the fastest 2 ½ hours ever. Nothing in this movie should be taken out. This movie is perfect. Go see it, several times. I will not give away any plot details it’s worth every minute.
