This is the best princess movie ever! The Disney princesses have nothing on Odette!
This was my absolute favorite princess movie growing up. It's funny, romantic and has a bit of adventure mixed in. It's about a young princess, Odette, and a prince, Derek, who are brought together every summer so that they'll fall in love. The first part of the movie is the funniest, at least I think so. They beat each other up as kids and completely disagree until they become adults.
They end up falling in love, but Derek says something stupid so Odette leaves and ends up getting captured and turned into a swan (hence, swan princess). Derek ends up finding her, saves her and they live happily ever after.
Not to mention, the talking animals are pretty funny. Also, it's one of the only princess movies I know of that actually involves someone fighting a dragon to save the princess. Isn't that what all princess stories should be like?
My absolute favorite son from the movie is "Far Longer Than Forever". So romantic <3
Another wonderful princess movie! This would definitely have to be my second favorite movie of all time.
This movie is sad, but it's very entertaining at the same time. If you've watched the Disney version of the little mermaid, it's sort of like that. Basicly it's about a younger mermaid princes who finds a prince she wants to be with. The sea witch takes her voice in exchange to be human. She meets her prince and they become happy together. He ends up meeting the girl he thought saved his life and they get married instead. Marina, the mermaid, will die if she doesn't kill the prince. She gets a dagger, goes to kill him, but she can't. She ends up turning into sea foam.
Like I said, it's a bit of a sad ending, but it's still a wonderful movie.
This movie is definitely a bit odd. Don't get me wrong, I still love it though. It's basically what happens after Snow White meets her prince. Another awesome princess movie that actually has a dragon in it. Why can't Disney get it that princess movies just need dragons to be slain?
This is a wonderful film and is definitely one I want to own when I have the money to start up a dvd collection.
This is a wonderful romance story about a girl who falls in love with the beast. Everyone treats the beast like a monster, even her to start, but she ends up seeing a better side to him.
The talking tea pot and other funny items just ads to the cuteness of the story.
I absolutely love this movie! David Bowie is such a good actor/singer. This was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. There is a little bit of crude humor in it, but it doesn't ruin the movie for me.
Spirited Away is an example of the wonderful masterpieces Miyazaki has created. The storyline is wonderful and the animation is nothing short of breathtaking.
