Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
PG
This was a good movie, but unfortunately it left out a lot from the book. I realize that they couldn't include everything from the book (the movie is already like 3 hours long), but there are some key elements they could have included that would have helped the story make more sense, especially to those who haven't read the book. I mean, they could have at least told WHY Snape is called the "half-blood prince." This movie acts as a good lead-in to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," which is supposed to be divided into two movies because "Deathly Hallows" is such a long book. Hopefully the next two movies will tie up all the loose ends "Half-Blood Prince" leaves out. My suggestion: Read the book before you see the movie--or even after you see the movie; it will make much more sense if you do.
Star Trek
PG-13
This is sort of a a prequel to the Star Trek TV series and movies, giving you insight into the beginnings of Kirk, Spock, and the crew of the Enterprise. It has all the typical "Star Trek" action and excitement, and the effects are great! A must see!
