Deafening, undeniably entertaining, and utterly, ludicrously ridiculous. At the end of the world, the U.S. government is run by......a top science adviser who's obviously spent too much time at the buffet table?? What?? They couldn't even manage to find the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development?? Please! 3 stars for cool CGI. Especially pleasing to see LA ripped from its innards and slip into the sea.
