The Man Who Wasn't There (2001,  R)
The Man Who Wasn't There
Great modern piece of film noir - I absolutely love the Coen Bros. and this one does not disappoint. Exceptional use of imagery and symbolism and a great 'who-dunnit' thriller with humor, twists and surprises. Thornton is probably one of the best actors and probably one of the most underappreciated actors of our time - he shines in this. I liked this better than Burn After Reading - the Coen Bros. did it again!
