The Dark Knight - PG-13
I hate to join the bandwagon on this one and gush with praise, but this film really did it for me. As a kid, I was a big fan of Batman: The Animated Series, and this movie landed me exactly where those Saturday morning cartoons did - right there in Gotham.

Cool set-up, but it didn't really take me anywhere. And I wanted to go somewhere.

Mad Money - PG-13
Certainly not the worst movie I've ever seen. Implausible? Sure. Poorly acted? Of course. But it killed 2 hours of a boring flight.

Atonement - R
A brilliant first 30 minutes trails off into various levels of deconstructed tragedy. Great film if that's your thing.

Gripping from beginning to end. Absolutely infused with power and creativity. American ideology gets a much-needed wake-up call.
