Ginger Snaps (2001,  R)
Ginger Snaps
Great things can come from low budgets and this is a perfect example. Good, old-fashioned storytelling, horror, blood and gore, starring a couple of great actresses. Recent horror, filmmakers should take notes - this is the way it should be done.

One of the best, animated films. Beautiful animation and score. Great voice cast. And an inspiring, heart-warming story. I wish they did more like this.

One of the best disaster films ever made. It's exciting, funny and touching. The ending always makes me cry.

The Last Days of Left Eye (2007,  Unrated)
The Last Days of Left Eye
Inspirational, real and touching piece of work from an incredible young singer of one of the most, successful female, r&b groups ever... a really deep look at her life and the real Left Eye.
31
Team America - World Police (2004,  R)

Star Trek (2009,  PG-13)
33
Fluke (1995,  PG)
34
High School Musical (2006,  Unrated)
High School Musical
Even though I only watched the second half of it, I can see why it was such a hit. Disney's original movies are usually hit or miss, IMO and especially in the last, couple years there hasn't been anything that really grabbed my attention. However, even seeing just this last half and watching it until the end, I was more and more impressed with each scene and number. Sure, it's a bit cheesy - what musical isn't? But Disney obviously put a lot into it and I especially felt that it was very evident during the final number. If I had any major complaints, it was Ashley Tisdale's voice and character.
35
Bruce Almighty (2003,  PG-13)

One of the most crazy, entertaining and funniest movies I've watched and enjoyed. Great to watch with equally crazy, entertaining and funny friends.
40
Ride with the Devil (1999,  R)
Ride with the Devil
Underrated masterpiece about the Civil War, directed by Ang Lee. Great performances by an amazing cast, including Tobey Maguire, Skeet Ulrich and the late Jonathan Brandis. A must see.
41
Idlewild (2006,  R)
42
Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006,  PG-13)
Bring It On: All or Nothing
Now this one I enjoyed immensely. I saw it on ABC Family and bought it the next day on DVD. It's entertaining and funny. I love Hayden Panettiere and she delighted me in here. However, it was Solange Knowles Smith who really impressed me; look forward to seeing what else she can do. And that Gus Carr kid was pretty attractive :) Definitely recommend this one.

Collateral
Cool flick, especially the last half. Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx did a great job.
47
Knocked Up (2007,  R)
Knocked Up
Definitely hyped up and the unrated DVDs made it a bit more crude, but it was still an enjoyable movie - funny and sweet.

Epic Movie (2007,  PG-13)
Epic Movie
Though not at good as the "Scary Movie" series, I enjoyed this movie. Especially the whole "Narnia" parody. If I had any major complaints, it was Jayma Mays' role - it really seemed like it was a role made for Anna Faris. Mays was delightful when she played Charlie in "Heroes"; she can do a lot better.

It's not like the original and yet it is. The original was better though, in some ways. The dancing was hot though and the soundtrack was great.

Romeo + Juliet (1996,  PG-13)
Romeo + Juliet
An interesting, modern twist. One of the few films I enjoy Leonardo DiCaprio in. John Leguizamo and Harold Perrineau are especially great in their roles.
118
Romeo and Juliet (1968,  PG)
Romeo and Juliet
If you want to see "Romeo And Juliet", don't forget this utterly classic and romantic version. Baz is fun, but Franco Zeffirelli does it right.

Top Gun (1986,  PG)
135
Unfaithful (2002,  R)
Unfaithful
A bit slow, but well crafted. The sex scenes are incredibly hot and so is the undercurrent of emotion. Diane Lane is amazing and Oliver Martinez sizzles. However, Gere left me dry. Worth a watch though.
