The Midnight Meat Train - R Interesting and different and thought it was going well until the end...a little bit silly. Thought Vinnie Jones wasn't too bad, all he had to do was look mean and he's pretty good at that. I liked how it was filmed and there was lots and lots of gore which is always good. Probably one of the goryest films i've ever seen actually, and I've seen a lot, lol. If it wasn't for the huge amount of violence this film would be pretty lame as its not the best storyline. Depends what your into really.. December 29, 2009

Avatar - PG-13 Not really my kind of thing, bit too geeky but can't say it was a bad film coz it wasn't. I loved all the pretty colours, was very magical and enchanting. The story wasn't amazing but it was simple and I guess a sci-fi classic. Not as epic as I thought it was going to be though. Very long though, could've been cut down a bit I think. Storm Warning - R Only die hard horror fans such as myself are going to like this film. It was pretty awesome and quite messed up. There was so much gore, I loved it! Typical horror storyline but very entertaining, that rape scene was just so awesome. That sounds bad but you'll know what I mean if you watch it! December 24, 2009

Koroshiya 1 (Ichi the Killer) - R A very twisted fucked up film. Not for the faint hearted. The characters of Ichi and Kakihara are really interesting though. Some scenes are pretty shocking and disturbing which is why this movie rocks =) December 24, 2009

Harry Brown - Unrated Awesome film. Very violent and lots of bad language. Was funny too, Michael Caine was really good. The plot was cool but not completely original, reminded me a bit of Outlaw. Bit farfetched but very entertaining. Kinda made you wanna go out and kill some chav scum, lol. December 24, 2009

The Informers - R Although not true to the book, its still very inkeeping. Bret Easton Ellis actually being involved in the film is enough for me to accept it how it is. Great 80's soundtrack and very very interesting characters. Think my favourite is Bryan Metro. People need to understand that there isnt really a storyline, it's just a look at excess in the best decade ever, lol. December 24, 2009

Monster - R Sad but compelling story. Charlize Theron was very worthy of her Oscar for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wournos. Christina Ricci was good too. Awesome soundtrack also. December 24, 2009

Birthday Girl - R Very disappointing, not what I expected at all. The story was lame and silly. Nicole Kidman wasn't very convincing. Dull and not funny. Only good thing were all the familiar faces. December 24, 2009

The Hangover - R It was good but not as good as lots of people made out. Funny but a bit too much like Dude, Where's My Car? Some good characters though and now can't stop saying "re-tard", haha. December 24, 2009

The Curve (Dead Man's Curve) - R Good idea for a storyline albeit a little silly but it just wasn't interesting or entertaining enough. The characters were all dull apart from Matthew Lilliards. It was a bit better towards the end, there was lots of twists and turns but does get a bit confusing and stupid. Watchable but not thoroughly enjoyable. December 24, 2009

The Incredibles - PG Definitely not the best Pixar film by far but it's still good. I think it's coz i'm not a big fan of their human animation, I much prefer the animals =) December 24, 2009

Burn After Reading - R Different but very funny. Loved the characters, was well cast. Not usually a big fan of Brad Pitt but thought he was ace in this. Was quite a short film, but very interesting. December 24, 2009

The Holiday - PG-13 A lot better than I expected. Very heartwarming and good to watch snuggled up with a hot drink on a cold winters day. All of the characters were very loveable and the story was eay to relate to. Very funny too, definitely worth a watch =) December 24, 2009

Jawbreaker - R Clueless meets The Craft. Rose McGowan is just awesome, nuff said. Great storyline, very entertaining. Brilliant soundtrack and an appearence from the Donna's, what more could you want? December 24, 2009

Prom Night - PG-13 Wasn't expecting much and was proved right to, it was crap. The acting was terrible even for your average horror film but then again I wouldn't even call this a horror film..there was no where near enough gore and it wasn't scary in the slightest. It was fairly realistic and believable to some extent but not very exciting or entertaining. December 24, 2009

Cashback - R What a little gem of a film. Very funny and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside =) At first I wasn't sure about the whole freezing time thing but it grew on me. I loved how it was filmed and it was very british and just absolutely charming. December 24, 2009

P2 - R Original and a fairly scary horror film, was on the edge of my seat a few times throughout. Suspenseful and gory although could've done with a slightly larger body count. December 24, 2009

Serenity - PG-13 Bit geeky, not my sort of thing. River was a cool character though. Didn't really follow it and got a bit bored in places but the action scenes were good. Love Buffy and Angel but this not so much... December 24, 2009

Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) - R Weird film but in a good way. Didn't really follow it properly, may have to watch it again. Bit geeky for me but interesting nonetheless. Will have to watch Day Watch now =) December 24, 2009

Kung Fu Hustle - R Hilarious film. The action sequences were amazing. It was kinda The Mask/Roger Rabbit meets kung fu. I really like the cartoonish quality of it. Very entertaining and really makes you wanna learn kung fu. December 24, 2009

Closer - R Really honest look at relationships and easy to relate to. Acting was outstanding and Natalie Portman is so beautiful. December 24, 2009

Funny Games - R Simply amazing. A brilliant unconventional storyline, no musical score and so much suspense. I liked how you couldn't always see what was going on, left lots to the imagination. The rewinding scene was genious, pure genious. I loved it, very weird and wonderful. Could see why other people would find it a bit boring but I just thought it was amazing and I do love Tim Roth =) December 24, 2009

Mallrats - R Classic Kevin Smith of course. It's just genious, so 90's and very funny. December 24, 2009
