Pulp Fiction (1994,  R)
Pulp Fiction
One of my all time favourite movies !!!! The script is awsome, the acting is awesome from the whole cast - check out Christopher Walken's cameo - in this masterpiece. Tarantino at his very best, the stories are exciting, dialogue is hip & It's one of the coolest movies ever !!! I could mention most of the cast but Uma Thurman, playing Mia Wallace, the wife of a gangster, just oozes sex appeal. Not just a cult classic, a mainstream classic aswell.

Carlito's Way (1993,  R)
Carlito's Way
Al Pachino, along side the brilliant Sean Penn, oozes class in this excellent movie. Brian DePalma's best work since Scarface. The story, acting and a brilliant soundtrack - a mixture of disco and latin - combine to make this one of my favourite films.

Reservoir Dogs (1992,  R)
Reservoir Dogs
Tarantino's breakthrough movie & a true classic. As with most of Tarantino's work the cast, script & acting are brilliant & this is one of his best. A group of criminals are bought together to perform a jewellery heist which goes wrong. The surviving members then begin to suspect that one of them is a police informant & stitched them up. Famous for a brutal scene involving Michael Madsen dancing to Stealers Wheel & being not very kind towards a cop. Truly great movie with some great dialogue.
25
Rocky (1976,  PG)
Rocky
Classic, brilliant original.
26
Saw (2004,  R)
Saw
I thought this was the best horror I'd seen in a while. Gruesome & gory, but actually pretty good. The two movies that follow it though are, in my opinion, awful.

33
The Shawshank Redemption (1994,  R)
The Shawshank Redemption
Brilliant movie & great acting, a classic, if you have never seen this movie then do so. Both Morgan Freeman & Tim Robbins excel as two convicted muderers - serving time in a tough prison - whom befriend one another. Watch this movie, it's a classic, I'd be surprised if anybody whom has watched it didn't enjoy it.
