Tombstone Tombstone R
One of the greatest Westerns I've yet seen. The film is a masterpiece, giving us the true story of Wyatt Earp, a legendary gunslinger who sought a peaceful life even while he blazed a bloody vengeance across the American West. Alongside him is the legendary Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer in the best performance of his career. Kilmer gives Holliday a persona that will never again be topped in my opinion.

The film follows Earp as he and his brothers become Marshalls of the town of Tombstone. They clash with a local gang that runs the place, and take them on in an attempt to restore order to the town. When both his brothers are attacked, Wyatt Earp vows hell-bent vengeance and leads a posse against the gang.

The film's music is sweeping and amazing for this kind of film, worthy of any of the classics. The gunfights are brilliantly filmed, giving us thrilling shots of Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp blazing the scenery in gunfire. The acting is superb, especially by the ever-legendary Val Kilmer. Also note-worthy is Kurt Russell as the vengeful Wyatt Earp, and Michael Biehn as a sociopathic gunslinger determined to kill Earp and Holliday.

The film follows the characters through the story as they range across the beautiful American landscape, driven on by the true story of these larger-than-life characters. This is a film that I would recommend to most anyone who wants a film with action, brilliance, and sweeping charisma.

Kudos to anyone involved in this amazing film.

A Clockwork Orange A Clockwork Orange R
One of the best films that Stanley Kubrick ever made. The film is alive with malice, questions, and the strange atmosphere created by Anthony Burgess. Malcolm McDowell is easily the best actor in the film, and he pulls off his role with careless ease. That, along with Kubrick as director, confirms that this is a movie none must forget.
