My Favorite Movies

I was perplexed as to how this didn't recieve the proper box office take-in that it really deserved. Alas, many people missed out on a great set of movies. Many would say that Death Proof is inferior compared to Planet Terror. I say "nay." Death Proof has to be my favourite Tarantino flick. I mean that. Two of my favourite film-makers have poured themselves into a project and pulled it off with more than stellar results. Will there be a second one? Probably not due to the disappointing lack of audience, but it doesn't cost anything to hope.

One of the single goriest movies I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. The lawnmower scene is a monument to special and make-up effects everywhere and this is probably Peter Jackson's best work. Highly recommended that anyone see this, unless you are faint of heart.

David Fincher has always made incredibly odd films, some disturbing like Fight Club and Se7en. Brilliant visual effects and a score to match from the Dust Brothers.

Very few times will an epic film come along that will grab me so much. Captain Sternn has to be my favourite vignette, coming in second is Den. I'm not a particularly big fan of Taarna, but I'm coming around. Ahhh... what else can I say about the movie that introduced me to Heavy Metal Magazine besides the fact that everyone should see it. Not for the faint of heart.
