Sherlock Holmes - PG-13 Loved it, great fun. Robert Downey Jr can do no wrong. I actually liked Jude Law for a change..rest of cast fantastic, costumes, action scenes all good.. Great set-up for a sequel and I can hardly wait. December 29, 2009

2012 - PG-13 Great scenes of destruction, first half was the best. Woody Harrelson wasa fun surprise. Day after Tomorrow was still the best disaster movie ever though. November 20, 2009

District 9 - R Worth seeing for the deeper themes and aliens blowing up people etc. Not for everyone, not lighthearted by any means but if you are a fan of Peter Jackson or just want to see something different check this out. Not for people who only like chick flicks... September 3, 2009

The Uninvited - PG-13 This was good, ever since Sixth Sense though nothing has compared to that genre for me. The girl had crazy written all over her from the beginning so I was not surprised by any of the plot. August 27, 2009

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - PG This was good, perhaps a bit more teen romance/angst than what I cared for, sometimes it was rather silly. There were some plots fromthe book with other characters like Neville, Remus etc that I would have found more interesting. I do however understand why the screenwriters and director chose to go this way. It sets up nicely for the remaining 2 movies and it is important to keep the focus on the 3 main characters of Harry, Hermione and Ron. Certainly see this movie if you are a fan. July 23, 2009

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - PG-13 Turned out to be decent summer movie fare. Not as good as the original, but overall rather fun. Alien robots blowing up bridges, cities, Shanghai, the pyramids of Egypt..the usual, and Shia LaBeouf-I always like that guy. Could have been shortened to 2 hrs -there was at least half hr of stuff -some attempts at comedy- that wasn't needed otherwise I would have given a higher rating but I would still recommend it to anyone who liked the 1st one. Star Trek - PG-13 5 stars, this was fantastic, I have seen it 3 times-3 days in a row and could see it again. I am looking forward to the sequel already. The cast, acting , directing, action sequences, cinemetography and overall plot were prefect for what I was looking for as a die hard Trekfan, Thanks JJ Abrams.
Update< I have seen it 5 times, and would love to see it again!!
