My Favorite Movies

1
Spider-Man (2002,  PG-13)
Spider-Man
Only thing I didn't like was how Goblin died...really he lacked a bit of foresight, didn't he, by skewering his own pelvis with his flying skateboard.
2
The Constant Gardener (2005,  R)
The Constant Gardener
One of the few movies that has made me cry. Story about a man's fight to expose the truth.
3
The Incredibles (2004,  PG)
The Incredibles
Funny, clever, great effects. I loved the ending too.
4
The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad! (1988,  PG-13)
The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad!
Can't think of a funnier movie, or of many that I have watched as many times as this one.
"Maybe it's true what they say- women and cops don't mix. Like taking a spoonful of draino. oh sure, it'll clean you out, but it'll leave you hollow inside".
5
The Matrix (1999,  R)
The Matrix
Great effects and storyline. The sequels were weaker on the latter, stonger on the former. It's a bit cruel though when you think about all the innocent people that they shot in this movie.
6
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
The only one of the original trilogy that I saw in the cinema. A treasured childhood memory.
7
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (2003,  PG-13)
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King
Frodo NEVER told Sam to go home. Then again, I loved the oliphaunts and that wasn't in the book either.
8
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (2001,  PG-13)
9
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (2002,  PG-13)
10
American History X (1998,  R)
American History X
I had to close my eyes at the most brutal part of this film, and glad I did when I heard my friend recoil, but this story is powerful and very emotional. It makes the viewer think about some deep issues
