| Funny People - R | One of the most awful film I have seen lately. Long, boring, predictable, repetitive, vulgar, flat, pretentious, bad directing, editing errors, bad acting, looooooooooong (2 hours and 26 minutes for a comedy pretending be a drama...LONG) | August 13, 2009 | N/A | |||

| WALL-E - G | I REALLY LOVED IT from the beginning until the end. I found myself twice with my mouth opened, amazed for the story development, the cuteness of the characters and the geniality. PIXAR never has stopped of surprising with their great talents. (Including the prior short film PRESTO that is screened before the wonderful WALL-E. Highly recommended this new animated film. It will be nominated, for sure. | July 27, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Kung Fu Panda - PG | Excellent film. I enjoyed very much the whole film. Excellent humor ( I laughed a lot) and great characters' development, beautiful production design, story very nice and the voices job were so good directed that I totally forgot they were the well-know actors behind the microphone. Entertaining and highly recommended !!!! | June 29, 2008 | N/A | |||
| The Fall - R |
This is the most incredible choreography of visuals and picture compositions I have not seen at the movies for long time. Stunning, elegant and amazingly beautiful. Mr Singh loves to do this in his films, and we saw that already in THE CELL, but here you are discovering a wonderful camera that many time it's the best narrator on screen, you have seen in other films with better scripts (including the excellent production values). The story could have some weakness, and some actings could be a little flat, but in general, you can't stop enjoying yourself at the movie theater. The acting of that little girl (Cantinca Untaru) is just EXCELLENT and unbelievable rich on details, as well, Lee Pace gives a well orchestrated acting job, and a perfect duet with the girl. I went to the movie theater very tired (and I was afraid I could fell asleep)...I couldn't. Every shot, every angle, every scene are visually a piece of art. Obviously the director pays more attention on this matter than some actors and the script but, hey, movies are moving images too. |

| Cheung Gong 7 hou (CJ7) (Long River 7) - PG | I had a wonderful time. The kid is excellent, and the camera language is marvelous. I have seen "Kung Fu Hustle" and this one is different, more human, more moral issues and a character easy to love (CJ7). 2 scenes for crying, the first one surprised me but the second one was very moving. Love the kids. Go to see it, here kids are real kids of 2008, not the Disney formula | May 13, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Smart People - R |
I couldn't believe this film had this great cast and the director couldn't make them to do a good job, and that destroyed this very boring film. Dennis Quaid doing a caricature of his character. Ellen Page was repeating his character in "Juno". You can see Jessica Parker without directions and Haden Church looks like he just did his best. Boring film. Pretentious and the screenplay, c'mon "where are the really "smart people" who wrote that?". An hour and a half and I felt like 3 hours in the theater. People, don't even rent the DVD. |
