A favourite of mine from tv, also the film where i saw Lance Henriksen lying on a bed, expecting his fate. Good actors, great jungle setting, it's all about grim survival.
Lance Henriksen owns the show, he is the pissed off scientist with the glasses and hair dyed blonde.
I was quite glad to hear about this film, and not surprised seeing Lance in yet ANOTHER film hehe.
"You're the only fucking pschycho around here". He was the reason i saw this, it doesn't have bad production values, though i think it contains a few too many clichees and i felt it was a bit too short, it lacked some more action, especially towards the end. It's trailer over-hypes the film a bit too much, but it isn't bad, recommended for Henriksen or Sheedy fans.
Very decent effort. I truly like the film, and since im a big fan of Lance Henriksen, i wa happy to see he got a interesting part. ALso to mention is Edward Furlong, and Tiffany Shepis, which is the first time i've seen her in a film. And Tony Todd as a cop.
Good horror film, made very well with a low budget.
A very good film ,now i have not seen many western films but i knew i could expect good things out of this, It was especially fun to see Lance Henriksen get a decent part in this. He deserves it, not that im him and know how he thinks but, heh, atleast he seemed to have fun.
Here Lance Henriksen owns the show as a Vietnam veteran now mercenary who aids a japanese gazillionare who ventures to Africa to discover his Samurai roots, from a ancestor who died in Africa 200 years ago. Along the way, is John Saxon, muslim partner of the japanese businessman, who has a hidden agenda with african rebels in the region.
FOr Lance Henriksen fans, this is him at a rough edge, very raw film, i liked it. :D
The plot was a bit, hard to understand, but with familiar faces like Henriksen and Saxon, it's worth a watch.
Lance Henriksen plays Captain John Willets, who along with a strike force team of marines is assigned to discover the reason why communcation was lost with a ship near Iran. Once there, it seems a supernatural, ghost-like forced wreckt havoc among the crew, and there are only a few survivors.
The premise of the film is a bit silly, unbelievable, the film itself is a bit predictable, only reason to see it is the stability from Henriksen.
