A product of the 70's that holds up in theory but in the end just falls flat. Surprisingly Adam And gives probably the best performance of the cast (Jordan is also Quite good and a few others, forget the rest) and it's wonderful to see so many "punk" cameos. However it's an aquired taste to say the least. If you didn't like it at first. At least give it a second chance!
In Catherine Breillant's "Anatomy of hell" On is introduced to what could be referred to as a "battle of the sexes." But the film goes deeper and into a more metaphorical level. People refuse to look at this film past the grimy exterior and see the real symbolism behind the sex acts.
Great idea, visually smart, but...It was WAY WAY longer than it should have been. Even if the ending was brilliant and shocking. They could've made this a beautiful film if they would've cut a few unnecessary scenes.
HOLY FUCK!!!! Still manages to leave me in awe even days after I saw it. it's mesmerizing images are both incomprehensible but beautiful. I find it fantastic.
Wonderful and heartwarming. I has to be one of the sweetest films I've seen in a while, even though the screenplay was a bit...lacking. The acting, visuals, directing, and story lines were all nothing short of perfect.
