Taare Zameen Par (2007,  Unrated)
Taare Zameen Par
We're all Ishaan Awasthi in India. We may not all be dyslexic, but we all have to contend with a super-competitive, highly disciplined and very, very serious educational system which, as Khan's character points out, only has room for doctors, engineers and management graduates. Anything else is second best and second best just won't do.

Aamir Khan's directorial debut is a beautiful, heartbreaking tale of one child's lonely struggle against a world that refuses to see him clearly. Darsheel Safary, who plays the lead role, has to be find of the century. What a talent! Definitely someone to watch out for! And if these are the kind of movies that Aamir Khan wants to keep churning out, I can't wait for his next release!
