Because i was never a avid watcher of star wars when young, I was happy that Hayden was the sith! :P Cleverly done to have 3 prequels filmed 20 years after the 3 sequels.
The better films made by the Pang Brothers, and of course by comparison of self, Aaron has improved much in he's acting skills. A well plotted scripts with few flaws. The flow is consistent and it didn't put me to sleep, haha! Interesting storyline at the last bit.
i love this absolutely although i am not a fan of he's more known samurai flicks. the concept of it all is intriguing and again, tells of a strong message of mankind's self-destruction and returning back to nature... defaulted, haha! beautifully interpreted in 6 parts, you can understand what akira was trying to manifest.
an all time classic that can rewatched over and over again. amazing how artists flair so much better when they are not highly paid, lol! (this film was produced during the 80s recession and was initially not approved) reeves did a good performance on softer characters but the script flawed on the bit on realising the 'modern' coin in the pocket. logically speaking, i don;t think it should matter since he is conscious of the fact he travelled back in time. But I guess its a movie and it has to turn somehow. Still a good watch.
a well scripted film, almost accurate theories put on screen - the menger sponge is real but not used for the pupose of capturing the soul. DOP is good and so was the cast - a balanced act altogether.
it has an underlying message of what humans really are and how humility puts them back in place. black comedy and a good effort from ann hui, not for the shallow watcher.
