after watching this movie for the second time and first time on DVD, I have some altered emotions about it. Lemme just lay out the pros & cons...pros: surprisingly good acting, uniquely amazing visual fx, great characters, gory action, and a terrific blend of fantasy-and-history. Cons, however, include: excessive slo-mo sequences, making for often lame scenes, and unrealistic blood. Overall, though, it was indeed a distinguished film.

8 Mile (2002,  R)
8 Mile
better than i'd expect. the rap battles are extraordinary, Brittany Murphy couldnt be skankier, and Cheddar actually shoots himself. good humor, tension, drama, and rap.
3
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1993,  PG-13)
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
definitely a classic. JP, you know what i'm talkin about. lol
4
American History X (1998,  R)
5
American Pie (1999,  R)
American Pie
Shannon Elizabeth is finer than Aphrodite, Jason Biggs is a dumbass, and Stifler is--well, Stifler. hilarious. a classic.
6
Bad Boys II (2003,  R)
Bad Boys II
Better than the first..hot chicks, hot action,..but sorry, not hot guys. lol but this movie is definitely a blockbuster, i think.
7
Blade (1998,  R)
Blade
a classic, though i'm readily prepared to favor the sequel nonetheless more.
8
Blade II (Blade 2) (2002,  R)
Blade II (Blade 2)
practically as good as the first, but lacks plot whereas the awesome creatures & according effex make-up for any storyline shortcomings--as well as acting talent. Man who played Jared Novak is as amazing as his awesome character, and humor is abundant with the presence of Ron Perlman in 'the Bloodpack.'
9
Black Hawk Down (2001,  R)
10
Con Air (1997,  R)
Con Air
good action flick with cheesy humor-but-still potent and great acting.
11
Die Hard (1988,  R)
Die Hard
yippe-kay-yay, motherfucker.
12
Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story (2004,  PG-13)
Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story
I'v seen this so many damn times it's one of thm movies I remeber every line. But ultimately Ppper Brooks' comments and Stiller's retardedness still make me crack-up.
13
Gladiator (2000,  R)
Gladiator
gory, great acting, Joaquin's the jerk and Crowe's the sensual badass, and of course my favorite Djimon Hounsou
14
GoodFellas (1990,  R)
GoodFellas
A sheer classic of the gangster--no, not gangstuh--underworld, composited by superior acting and despite the presence of my disliked DeNiro, Liotta and particularly Pesci give great performances.
15
Gridiron Gang (2006,  PG-13)
16
Ice Age (2002,  PG)
17
Jackass: Number Two (2006,  R)
18
Just Friends (2005,  PG-13)
Just Friends
Regardless of the few lame spots, this one's hilarious especially with Ryan Reynolds and the sardonic Anna Farris. The credits-scene with him singing "I Swear" by All-4-One is merely worth the rental, @least.
19
King Kong (2005,  PG-13)
King Kong
despite its length and lame hilarity between Watts and Kong, it's a great watch.
20
Men in Black (1997,  PG-13)
21
Spaceballs (1987,  PG)
22
Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008,  R)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
by far Apatow's best movie, not rightfully to be compared with the extremely raunchy 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked-Up, and Superbad, however, "FSH" does hold bawdy humor though it's sustained in brief and ocassionally subtle moments despite the sex scenes. And while Jason Segel's cock gets at most 5 somehow hilarious seconds of actual screentime, the hilarity mostly resides with Segel's pathetic-character's performance mand supporting actor's comical lines and actions, primarily Russell Brand. And, of course, Mila Kunis is uber-beautiful and ridiculously sexy; but, sorry lads, her 'nude image' was in fact photographed. =[ still a good movie nonetheless, regardless of some romantically-sappy moments and the typical 'happy ending.'
