The movie is inspiring, funny, thoughtful, & bittersweet. The soundtrack by Cat Stevens is remarkable. The "82% Not Interested" in seeing this movie are a testament to this being one of the all-time greatest cult movies ever. I want EVERYBODY to see this movie, at least once......but I love the fact that most will not bother. How pretentious & snobbish of me to say, I'm glad most have no desire to see this movie because that means that Harold & Maude belongs to the few who really appreciate what an amazing picture it really is.....We all have our own reasons for loving this movie, but the bond we share is real...... I am a movie fanatic; the list of movies I love is very long.... Harold & Maude IS - and always WILL BE - my all time favorite.
