probably very personal film that really links to my adolescence. Rohmer with his trademark dialogues and not to be missed detailed moments, really captures well feminine sensitivities. Delphine, the naive, lonely, repressed, nobody loves me kind of character - is trapped in her own loneliness but she is somehow conscious about the happenings around her and finally gets to see the one she's been longing for. Probably the sweetest and humble ending scene as if you are sitting with a loved one witnessing the magic of what your life can have and deserve.

the most unforgettable and beautiful openning scene and definitely the most metarphoric ending scene which echoes throughout the whole film while it progresses. Searching for something which doesn't even exist from the first place throws me to think about grand questions. Kinski at his very best, Herzog at his usual best. Somehow painful to watch because you have to face it, not to turn away.
