High Plains Drifter
I was reluctant for a while to watch this one as it's not really a "spaghetti" western. It's an American film and came a few years after the height of the spaghetti west. However, if anyone should be allowed to build off of that genre it's Clint.

I was delightfully surprised at how much I enjoyed this the other night. Eastwood manages to remain very true to the form of the classic Leone films without producing a mere carbon copy. If Leone was the teacher, Eastwood proves his role as the star student with this accomplishment.

The result is as genuinely humorous as it is stylized, suspenseful and of course, violent.
Don't make the mistake that I did of sleeping on this one. It's a definite must see for any Eastwood/Western fan.
