Lots of action. Fishburne, Walken, Snipes, Caruso, Randle just to name a few. I saw it at a time when I really needed some entertainment and it fit the bill. This movie enfluenced alot of young people who grew up like me and I appreciated it almost as much as the The Notorious B.I.G. (RIP).
A classic kung fu movie. I watched it again recently and was amazed at the level of creativity it took to make the special effects happen back then. No green screen or cgi. Great movie!!!
It is a very powerful film and I refer many of my friends to see it. I read the book after I saw the movie and thought the movie did a very good job of staying true to the book. The book is a very good read and worth the investment in time to check out. Even though I think the book is better the movie did it justice.
A very interesting view of how hard it was for black relationships during that era. I like the complexity of the characters and the depth to which the film goes to provide all the factors surrounding the problems the main character has with family, love, and living as a black man.
I enjoyed the action and the humor of the movie. James Caan, Taye Diggs, Benicio Del Toro, Juliette Lewis, and Ryan Phillippe just to name a few. There is a scene in the beginning with a foulmouthed woman outside of a club that is funny. Guess who the woman is?
Very entertaining movie. I like the way it was shot and the action was very satisfying without it being overdone. You can't go wrong with this movie. I purchased it as a gift for my mother.
