Luckily as the first disney movie with a black princess it didn't disappoint. The music was good, the animation was magical, and it was on the same level as any of the pixar flicks. Just wish it had come out a long time ago.
More than I expected though it was predictable. It was a typical high school film that had a little more bite though was only a little too vulgar for a pg-13 rating. If you need a good laugh and something lighthearted this film is good for fun.
Normally a whole trilogy never does well in my opinion but Ice Age did. The second movie was still the best out of the 3 but why did they have to make Sid so annoying? Halfway through the movie I wanted to dinosaur to eat him. Still a cute movie.
It was ok. It was pretty realistic since that's how life really is and doesn't always have a happy ending. I'm not so sure why everyone cried in the end even though it was sad. I didn't find it sad enough to bring tears.
A great film that's been immitated often by lousy rom-coms but never duplicated. I'm guessing for the time it was made it was an original idea so maybe other current day filmakers should consider the same if they want a good film that will be remembered for decades to come.
Though a sad story it's still very touching and triumphant. Though Mickey Rourke got robbed out of an Oscar to Sean Penn for this performance it was still worthy of a nomination. I don't know why Emile Hirsch wasn't nominated since he stole the show.
It was a little too 80s cheesy for me but was overall a good film. I guess if I had seen it at a younger age or if it hadn't come out the year I was born it probably would've been really great to me. But it was still pretty funny and wasn't too long. RIP John Hughes.
It's a good movie to kill time and has some funny parts. Other parts were too disgusting (the chewing gum) and unrealistic (1 straight guy the rest a gay band). It was good that there was more to the movie than getting over an ex having a fun chase around New York.
