Beautiful! One of my all time favourites! Why isn't Albert Finney a bigger star than he is? Why doesn't he make more money than, lets say, Tom Cruise or some of the other boring ones? He's simply magnificent every time i watch him!

Gritty portrait of how the life as a hoodlum must be... or at least that's how I felt.
14
Halloween (1978,  R)
Halloween
A classic!!!! Maybe one of my favourite horror movies ever. It's cold and dark and really really low budget. Carpenter directs with a steady hand (he even makes and plays the score himself) and you can't help being impressed by how little money you need when you've got talent like he does. He hasn't made anything close to this since, but this is surely something he'll always be remembered for. Bravo Mr. Carpenter!
