My Favorite Movies

What a breathtaking film! It was so original, inspired and emotional. The use of the songs and the choreography was amazing, the performances were great and the visuals were a collection of pure art.

I think everyone should see this.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is it dragged a little bit before the third act.

Visually interesting and stylish, accompanied by a refreshingly unique take on vampires and the creatures of the night. Amazingly creative use of subtitles as an aid to tell the story.

Keeps the style and flavour of Night Watch alive. Great take on vampires and magic, with a very grounded human element. I miss the stylized subtitles, but it likely would have felt overdone to do it again here.

Some terrific character work, drama, acting, weaves into some great suspense, capped off by a great shoot-out. Loved it.

I am blown away by this movie. Great acting (which is a great change of pace in a monster movie) brilliant effects, really intense movie that lands you right in the middle of a surreal situation and makes it feel real. An absolute thrill ride! The use of the "Blair Witch"-style camera is perfected in this movie.
