Words can not describe how much I love this film, it's a fantastic study of teen angst, love, hate, fear and the importance of trust, with some amusing violence thrown in for good measure!

Fun, if formulaic to the extreme, it reminds me of my work, and the music is superb!

My evil mean streak enjoys this film immensely! Endlessly quotable, and downright vicious in places, if you ever had a crappy time at high school, it's the film for you!

Bitter and cynical look at relationships with some cracking one-liners and an actual heart to it, if you look hard enough.

Faultless comedy genius from Wilder, who really knew how to get fantastic performances from his actors, even when they were as troubled and distracted as Monroe was during the making of this film. For all it's problems off-screen, it's a fine example of scripting and comedic timing, especially from Lemmon and Joe E. Brown, who steals the whole film (and one of the best closing lines in movie history) as a horny old bugger intent on getting into 'Daphne'(Lemmon)'s pants. A must for anyone who ever wants to write, act, or direct comedies.

My inner child loves this movie more than anything! Another film that I could watch over and over, and quote ad nauseum!
