Scarface 5.0 Stars
"I'm Tony Montana! You fuck with me, you fuckin' with the best!"
This is one of my all time favorites and the first movie of Al Pacino I've seen.
The story is incredible with a powerfull Pacino as Tony Montana.
Full of memorables scenes and quotes as the scene of the chainsaw,or the ending with the big shooting in his mansion.
Watch it,do this favour to yourself.

The Godfather, Part II (1974,  R)
The Godfather, Part II 5.0 Stars
The godfather pt II this is my favourite of the trilogy.
Al Pacino made one of the best interpretation of all time.
This second time of the Corleone's story is mixed with some flashbacks about the story of a young Vito Corleone just arrived in America.
There are two stories taht running in parallel, the climbing to the power of Vito and the fall of his son Michael.
Well what can I say more? superb acting, great story, and about my opinion this is the greatest sequel ever made.

Full Metal Jacket (1987,  R)
Full Metal Jacket 4.5 Stars
Full Metal Jacket is a great movie. Not the best from Kubrick, but works great as a war film. The plot is about a group of soldiers who are turned into killers in marine training, and are then sent off to the Vietnam War.

Kubrick is the true master of atmosphere in film. He makes you feel like you are there.
The camera work was superb. I felt like I was walking through the movie with the Marines, from the barracks to the battlefield scenes.

The film is divided into two parts
1--Training
2--To the front

If u liked this also watch "Apocaypse now","save the private ryan" and why not also" jarhead"

Modern Times (1936,  Unrated)
Modern Times 5.0 Stars
Charlie turns against modern society, the machine age, and progress.
Firstly we see him frantically trying to keep up with a production line, tightening bolts. He is selected for an experiment with an automatic feeding machine, but various mishaps leads his boss to believe he has gone mad, and Charlie is sent to a mental hospital... When he gets out, he is mistaken for a communist while waving a red flag, sent to jail, foils a jailbreak, and is let out again. We follow Charlie through many more escapades before the film is out.

this movie is always modern.
And this story of modern times, like all of Chaplin's films will end up with an optimistic feeling in a unhappy end. Never is everything lost.
the final scene is very famous where there are chaplin and his woman who are walking on the way to the future with a smile on face.

It's one of the greatest movie ever made.
It's a magnificent portrait of organized crime.
Superb acting by especially Al Pacino as Mike Corleone and Marlon Brando as Don Vito corleone.
I don't write the plot because I think that everybody knows the story of this masterpiece.
This is definetely a "must see" masterpiece!

Cinema Paradiso (Nuovo cinema Paradiso) (1988,  R)
Cinema Paradiso (Nuovo cinema Paradiso) 5.0 Stars

The Great Dictator (1940,  G)
The Great Dictator 5.0 Stars
During the last days of the First World War, a clumsy soldier saves the life of devoted military pilot Schultz. Unfortunately, their flight from the advancing enemy ends in a severe crash with the clumsy soldier losing his memories. After quite some years in the hospital, the amnesia patient gets released and reopens his old barber shop in the Jewish ghetto. But times have changed in the country of Tomania: Dictator Adenoid Hynkel, who accidentally looks very similar to the barber, has laid his merciless grip on the country, and the Jewish people are discriminated against.

A 1940 masterpiece.
Great the last scene where Chaplin himself hits one of his highest moments in the amazing sequence where he performs a dance of love with a large inflated globe of the world.
Very funny the scene where they exchange the coins in puddings.
And great the last scene where he ends the film with the barber's six-minute speech calling for peace and prophesying a hopeful future for troubled mankind.

After the outbreak of a lethal virus in 2009, US Army virologist Lieutenant Colonel Robert Neville (Will Smith) is left as the last healthy human in New York City and possibly the entire world.

The action/suspense scenes coupled with superb sound direction were also heart pounding and unexpected which added to the "scare" factor.

This movie iis one of the better movies of 2007 and a must see.
