| Return to Horror High - R | This movie contained an excess of blood and sexual innuendo, and it culminated in the most confusing ending I have ever seen. It was really good because the only criteria for judging whether a horror movie is good or bad are blood and tits and it has plenty of those. Am I right? | November 19, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Near Dark - R | Near Dark starts out really well. Adrain Pasdar's portrayal of the horny but naive cowboy is phenomenal. The vampire and western genres blend well together. The cinematography beautifully portrays dark shadows and dusty daylight. Unfortunately there is little character or story development, which might be forgivable if it wasn't for the fact that the film takes a turn for the worst when it defies myth and logic with a blood transfusion that cures vampirism. Overall the film is watchable, but slightly frustrating. | November 19, 2008 | N/A | |||
| Wanted - R |
Jon Stewart said it best on The Daily Show, "It Should suck, but it doesn't." Wanted is incredibly unrealistic and ridiculous and it rips off several far superior films. Yet despite its many flaws, it's really entertaining. So yeah this film is predictable, and unoriginal, but it has great action and visual effects, and decent acting. In other words it is totally worth the 7 bucks to see it on the big screen, just maybe not the $19.99 to buy it on DVD. |

| The Tripper - R | The Tripper is a fairly conventional slasher film, with just a touch of political commentary. It is reminiscent of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The acting is surprisingly good for a horror film, unfortunately most of the characters are totaally one-dimensional. Despite it's many flaws if you're looking for some blood and gore this movie is for you. | December 27, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - R | If Charles Dickens ever wrote a slasher novel it would be Sweeney Todd. Like all of Tim Burton's films it has phenomenal production design and great performances. It's a little darker than most of Tim Burton's work, so if you're a of Burton you should keep that in mind when you see it. Overall I think it was a mediocre film. | December 27, 2007 | N/A | |||

| Waitress - PG-13 | This movie was really cute. It reminded me a lot of my mom. Although the cinematography and editing wasn't very impressive, the simplicity of it seemed to work with the story. | May 26, 2007 | N/A |
