It's a film that starts well, suffers an uneven middle period and then ends on a slightly depressing note. When it's good, it's very good (especially the Wild Things themselves: a solid-looking mix of real puppets and facial CGI) but the middle third of the film was just too slow in parts for me. However, it's certainly memorable and the good more than outweighs the bad. I'll need to watch it again - I have a feeling that it's a grower.
Running, agile zombies that climb trees, use military tactics and are more interested in hoarding treasure than eating braaaaiiiiinnnssss? Breaks all the zombie rules but it's great fun.
