I'm a straight forward, beer drinking, ciggarette smoking, red meat and potatoes kinda guy. I'm a sucker for redheads. I'm very open-minded, listen to lots of different types of music and prefer to keep company with those that know what a sense of humor is.
I love action/adventure/fantasy/sci-fi movies, kung fu, anime, stoner movies, and anything based on comic books and video games. What can I say? I'm a big kid. But I guess that's what makes me good dad (and single)! Sorry ladies, but if there's 3 things I have problems with, it's commitment, emotions, and romantic girly movies . . . unless you're a redhead (I'll watch any movie a redhead girl wants me to watch). But I guess it beats being an arrogant, naive, up-tight, ignorant, ego-maniacal jerk like mostly everyone else in this god-forsaken capitalist country. I hate copy cat cliched no talent ass clowns thinking they know whats "cool" and "hip", when they wouldn't know a fresh perspective if it bit em on the nose. Diverse culture, different perspectives, and a philosophical mind make for an intriuging personality. Listening to lately: Amy Winehouse, Rick Ross, Gorrillaz, Method Man. |

EPIC FAIL. Someone tell me how and why poorly casted movies based on lame games always get green-lit, but a golden egg like Halo can't even get off the ground?!
Star Trek (Star Trek XI)
Unrated
I am NOT a trek fan by any stretch of the imagination, but, that being said, I want to see this only because of the sheer amount of talent attached.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2)
PG-13
AWESOME. Better than Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. Stunning visuals, a very fresh plot, and tons of great action.

See the movie, read the book. This is your life. Good to last drop. And it's ending, one minute at a time.

I recommend you see...
In Bruges
by SamFinally! The movie I've been waiting to see all year. One that is entirely satisfying. And In Bruges delivers!!!
This movie does not disappoint. There is a perfect amount of humor (and oh yeah it's very dark humor) to undercut the drama and action taking place in this movie. And the story has a good amount of suspense. The music is fantastic, and it gives this movie the feeling and power necessary to completely dazzle! The music makes the movie so much more emotionally resonant. There are great performances from Ralph Fiennes (absolutely perfect antagonist and absolutely hilarious at that), Brendan Gleeson (completely connected with his character), and have to save the best for last...COLIN FARRELL! I am officially a fan now, because up until now I have never been that impressed with any of his work...but...WOW! This guy is actually a damn good actor! He just needs to quit starring in bad movies.
It's just got so much working in its favor. I only wish I could've seen it when it was in theaters. And the ending...oh man...THE ENDING!! Without question my favorite movie of 2008 so far!Yeah I don't usually do much of this movie recommending thing...but this one you should really REALLY check out!
