I really liked this movie. It is very poignant and sad for the majority, but it has a few lighter moments to loosen things up a bit. I thought Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, and Alan Arkin were all fantastic. I laughed and cried. I felt sympathy and hope for this odd little family. It doesn't really end on the most positive note, but I like to think that everything turned out ok for them. I was a little disappointed with Steve Zahn because he is usually so darn likeable and in this one not so much, but I guess every film needs a 'villian' of sorts.
