Comes alive when the peach appears and its host of misfit characters set off on their journey. Horrid aunts are good fun but the boy is a bit bland and some of the sets spoil the illusion a little.

Enjoyable gothic fairytale with soild if unremarkable songs.

My favourite movie of all time - heart wrenching drama made with real intelligence. Best movie music as well by Mike Oldfield

Consistently funny throughout which raises it above the other Monty Pythons. Stunning script, faultlessly executed. Overflowing with quotable lines.
