Dawn of the Dead

Amazing! This shows why George Romero get's his name stuck in front of every film he's done since. Survivors of a zombie epidemic hide in a shopping mall fortress. Gory satire on consumer fuelled over-the-counter culture. Also has the coolest Muzak ever.
Pulp Fiction

Only recently saw this, but it lived up to the hype. As you can surmise from the title, the story line isn't mind-blowing, just a few disjointed tales from a criminal underworld. The segmented story is a really thin pizza base absoloutely covered in tasty toppings of witty dialogue, nonchalant banter, pop culture and gritty comic antics. And an excellent soundtrack too.
