One of the most impressive combinations of sci-fi and social commentry that I have seen in a looooong time. Full points and everlasting gratitude for a setting outside of America and using symbols of destruction other than that silly statue that Hollywood always uses. The use of non-mainstream actors, with real accents and real acting ability was a breath of fresh air.

Just seen, both sections as they were meant to be viewed back to back. Hard to say which was better as they were both most enjoyable in quite different ways. Tarantino was as mesmerising as ever; he still has they 'what on earth next...' factor happening. I think I enjoyed the Rodriguez segment even more though, and the trailers were priceless.
