| District 9 - R | One of the most impressive combinations of sci-fi and social commentry that I have seen in a looooong time. Full points and everlasting gratitude for a setting outside of America and using symbols of destruction other than that silly statue that Hollywood always uses. The use of non-mainstream actors, with real accents and real acting ability was a breath of fresh air. | November 10, 2009 | N/A | |||

This was a krap movie. I did quite enjoy it - I think you need to watch a real b grade every now and then to keep a sense of proportion, and this sure qualified.
It could have been mediocre crap rather than terrible if only Amerikans could suppress this jesus fetish. Without the tedious, childlike cristianity this movie would have been better. The numbers plot, which roped most of us in to see it was underdeveloped and eventually completely fizzeled out. And whats with the rabbits? Was it because it was timed for an easter relaese data or what? A brand new planet populated with humans and rabbits - two of the most ecologically disasterous species wtf. I just hope they didnt forget the roaches, roaches would fit right in. |

And they don't really want to drink humans cos' they are really, nice, all american baseball playing middle class boring at heart? Why bother? |

| Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - PG-13 | Well, it had to be seen - but more in memory of the first three than from any hope that it would redeem the last two. I didn't. | March 17, 2009 | N/A | |||
| Race to Witch Mountain - PG | March 17, 2009 | N/A | ||||
| Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - PG | Damn good rendition of a fairly difficult story to film. I cant imagine anyone doing a better job of Willy Wonka than Depp did. | March 17, 2009 | N/A | |||
