What can I say? If you really enjoy reading Shakespeare and/ or enjoy really good acting this is the version for you. This is the longest and best version I have seen. Other than Glenn Close as Gertrude ( 1990 Gibson/Zefferilli ) , I can't think of anyone else who was better in their respective role. I loved that all of the original dialogue is left in. Actually the story as a whole makes much more sense with everything intact. Highly recommended ! |

probablly my favorite film that year. couldn't bring myself to watch it for a long time. the memories an emotions that it invokes are intense. not done in the style of so much from "hollywood", but done very thoughtfully. highly recommended. |

One of my favorite Woody Allen films. Landau is outstanding in this. A must see for Allen or Landau fans. Big thumbs up! |
