The Invention of Lying

I adore Ricky Gervais' humor, and it's easy to tell that he had a hand in writing this film, which is one of the more original comedies, and certainly romcoms, I've seen in ages. Enjoyable, sometimes emotional, and always entertaining. It feels nice to see something new.
Frankenhooker

I've seen this movie before in a couple different iterations -- obviously Frankenstein, to some degree, but The Brain that Wouldn't Die also came to mind. Frankenhooker is absolutely hilarious, and shamelessly tasteless, which is what I like to see.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie
PG-13
This is most likely my favorite movie at the moment, because it combines some great loves of mine. MST3K (wanna trade tapes? Kidding.) and cheeseball movies. Even though the riffed movie, "This Island Earth" isn't really a MST-quality movie, it still provides great material. I suggest that everyone who at least thinks they'll enjoy this movie purchase it for a few bucks on VHS on E-bay, beacuse it gets a ridiculous amount of replay value, and your chances of finding it otherwise are slim-to-none. Although my original review of "I LOVE THIS MOVIE" still stands, I figured I should elaborate. This is a Mike Nelson feature, which, I'm a fan of both Mike and Joel, so it's just peachy with me. There is no TV's Frank, however, which is somewhat saddening. Then again, you have Dr. Forrester, so cheer up. I have one-sided conversations with myself a lot. Disregard that.
