This is a great documentary. It is sroty about the Prophet Muhammad his teachings and his struggles to share his revelations of God to the people. This sroty of Muhammad is intertwined with the stories of common people that ahve been in some way touched by Islam and how that belief touched and changed their lives, just like Muhammad's legacy changed many lifes. We becam familiar with a firefighter from New York, with a nurse from Dearborn, Michigan and many others...
Muhammad "inherited" the troubled Meccan society that was becoming fairly hedonistic and materialistic. Revelations that he was experiencing were not in accord, and eventually posed a great threat to the developing Meccan merchant system. Muhammad left Mecca and with the time had gained a large number of supporters mainly in Medina and later on thgought the Arabic world and wider.
Stories of the real people that me and you both know, just regular people just like ourselves I believe explain it better than any narrator possibly can. They hopefully help us get rid of all the misconceptions we may ahve about this great religion and present it for what it truly is. It is the religion that gives people sense of humanity and reminds us that we are all responsible for each other. It condemns any kind of violence and retaliation. This is definitely a documentary worth seeing.
