An amazing tale! Very powerful, very moving, I admit, tears did well up my eyes at this movie, Will Smith's most powerful performance and I get the feeling after this movie a lot of people will be after Jaden Smith for a few movies to! I think what I love most about this film is how Smith portrayed Gardener's Patience and how strong he was overall, when most men would have gave up and ended all their hopes and dreams and maybe even have taken their own lives, Gardener carried on with such determination, Smith is the only person I think could have fitted the part and the fact they had his son play gardeners son is what I think made it more convincing, if this movie doesn't win 70% of the awards it's nominated for then I think that shows how much people don't care of what they watch anymore.

This film is fantastic, Baz Luhrman is a genius, the way he brought it upto modern times but kept most of the original script was just extraordinary.
