Stephen Sommer's passion for the Universal Monsters is startlingly apparent, and he portrays the beloved monstersin such a way that I think if James Whale or George Waggner saw this, they would be proud their legacy was continuing to inspire. Yes, it does have somewhat insanely unneccessary sequences... But so did Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man, with that guy with the moustache signing...It's part of the ride, and I, for one, enjoyed it. And Kate Beckinsale looks great in that outfit.

Fans of the MJ (like me) will find this so interesting, the two hours fly by.

What can I say... This movie has everything. Music. Murder. Mayhem. Madness. Transvestites. A homage to science-fiction whilst taking a completely new direction in basically every genre besides western, this film blew my mind when I first saw it and it still blows my mind today.
